D unblaine School
Dunblaine has offered caring and nurturing educational services for children with learning disabilities since 1969. Originally situated on church premises on Dunblaine Avenue in the North Toronto Community, the school was created by a group of concerned parents. Now residing in a former residence on Deloraine Avenue,
The Dunblaine School has become the foremost non-profit elementary school to meet the unique needs and abilities of students who have been diagnosed as learning disabled. Over the years, our nurturing environment has promoted not only academic but emotional intelligence in every student. Operating as a private school that offers small class sizes and highly trained special education teachers, Dunblaine has provided individualized learning that continues to produce successful and happy students who are lifelong learners.
Our motto: “We understand.”
The Dunblaine School motto encapsulates the ideals that help to guide students through to academic, social, and emotional growth. Encompassing the notion of knowledge and understanding in all aspects of school life, it promotes school unity, acceptance and a strong and lasting bond between teachers, students and parents.
